Climbing, Triangle Rock Club
February 4. Climb the walls with the scouts. This is an all-night lock on Saturday night in at the up and coming Triangle Rock Club indoor climbing facility in Morrisville.
Civil War Adventure Camp
February 17-19. Live like a Civil War soldier! Recruits dress in Union or Confederate uniforms, sleep in recreated encampments, and eat Civil War era meals. As privates in the Army, recruits drill with muskets, decode signals, march into skirmishes, participate in medical demonstrations and picket duty, fire mortars and more! At Pamplin Historical Park in Virginia. Everyone in the family is welcome to come along on this one--I hear we sleep in heated cabins.

Note for all trips: Any boy should feel free to ask the Committee Chair, Karl Bates (klbates@nc.rr.com), the Scoutmaster, Joe Doughty (jvdoughty@aol.com), or the Treasurer, Kim Williams (kimwilliams1@nc.rr.com), for a discount or a full scholarship on any trip, should it be a hardship to afford it. Never decide you cannot attend any of our events because of cost.
