Parents for Chapel Hill Scouting is a non-profit (EIN 92-1445926) mission focused to support the education & growth of youth through volunteerism and contribution to our local scouting troop (BSA Troop 835).
Troop 835 is a Family Troop, allowing youth to experience Scouting America together regardless of gender. We meet at the “Scout Hut” east of Amity United Methodist Church (where you buy your Christmas trees and Halloween pumpkins) on Wednesday evenings, 7:30 to 9:00, during the school year. We’d love it if you’d come to a meeting to meet us and join in our own special brand of fun. We welcome all, regardless of race, creed, gender, gender identity, or disability.
